What does a net do to keep out mosquitoes?

Contrary to their name, mosquito nets are not simply "nets". They are mesh filters treated with an insecticide (ITN, Insecticide Treated Net) which allow permeation of air, but keep out bugs, specifically mosquitoes.

Multiple European health and pharmaceutical companies are currently working jointly on what they think could be a successful vaccination; for, while there is not true vaccine (only cures and preventative methods), specialists believe the number of cases can be greatly decreased.
